FDA Says Co. Is Trying To Cash In On Meningitis Outbreak

Law360, New York (November 6, 2012, 3:00 PM EST) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Monday warned a Tennessee company to stop marketing its “LED light therapy products” as a cure for fungal meningitis, saying such claims were unproven and amounted to an attempt to cash in on an outbreak that has so far killed 30 people.
