Ill. Bar Group Urges Sens. To Close CFPB Privilege Gap

Law360, New York (November 6, 2012, 2:03 PM EST) -- The Illinois State Bar Association announced Monday it had urged the state’s U.S. senators to help pass legislation that would close a loophole allowing information banks submit to the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to be disclosed to third parties, saying attorney-client privileged information could be at risk.
