Ex-Pepper Contract Atty Says Partner Hacked Emails, Phones

Law360, New York (November 6, 2012, 2:45 PM EST) -- A former contract attorney for Pepper Hamilton LLP sued the firm and a partner in Pennsylvania state court Monday, alleging the partner hacked his email and intercepted his phone calls while he worked for the firm.

Philadelphia-based attorney Jeffrey First contends that partner Barry Boise invaded his privacy and that the firm subsequently defamed him by informing his family members that he was terminated, when he actually resigned following the alleged misconduct.
