American Home Counsel Wants $1.5M For First Month

Law360, New York (November 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Legal professionals and advisors of bankrupt lender American Home Mortgage Holdings Inc. have filed their first applications for fees and expenses, with the company’s lead counsel requesting $1.5 million for its services during American Home’s first month in Chapter 11.

In a motion filed Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, American Home’s lead bankruptcy counsel, Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor LLP, requested “reasonable compensation” for its services rendered during the month of August for the bankrupt mortgage company.
