Royal DSM Pays $634M For Nutrient Maker Fortitech

Law360, New York (November 8, 2012, 7:37 PM EST) -- Dutch health sciences company Royal DSM will acquire nutrient manufacturer Fortitech Inc. in a $634 million deal that will buy out private equity firm Trilantic Capital Partners’ stake in Fortitech, the companies announced Thursday.

The cash deal is expected to close at the end of the year, and marks Royal DSM’s latest advance into the nutrition market, following similar acquisitions within the past several years.
