EPA Permits 2 Fracking Wastewater Disposal Wells In NW Pa.

Law360, Philadelphia (November 9, 2012, 2:37 PM EST) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has issued draft permits for two deepwater injection wells in northwest Pennsylvania to dispose of fluids that have been used in fracking operations.

The agency granted the preliminary approvals to Windfall Oil and Gas Inc. for a proposed well in Clearfield County, and to Seneca Resources Corp. for a proposed well in Elk County.
