3Q Tech Deals Flat As Leaders Focus Internally, Report Says

Law360, New York (November 9, 2012, 6:50 PM EST) -- Despite an uptick in overall third-quarter deals this year, technology deals leveled off and values declined in the third quarter, according to a report released Friday by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, which said once-acquisitive tech giants are looking inward to bulk up.

PwC's U.S. Technology M&A Insights Q3 2012 report found that the technology-sector transaction volume stayed flat with 59 deals, just one more than the number that closed in the previous quarter.
