Lawmaker Aims To Speed Permits For Alaskan Gas Transport

Law360, New York (November 13, 2012, 6:25 PM EST) -- Alaska Sen. Mark Begich on Monday proposed changing the law that regulates natural gas pipelines in the state to streamline permitting for all natural gas transportation, including liquefied natural gas, a move he said would help control rising energy prices.
