Challenging CPSC's Database: A Victory For Companies

Law360, New York (November 19, 2012, 1:12 PM EST) -- Long before Congress passed the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA), companies that manufacture, distribute and sell consumer products voiced their concerns over the CPSIA’s requirement that the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission create a publicly-available internet database of consumer product “reports of harm.”
