Norton Rose, Fulbright Join Forces To Create Global Giant

Law360, New York (November 14, 2012, 2:10 PM EST) -- Fulbright & Jaworski LLP and Norton Rose will merge and create a global legal titan with 55 offices and 3,800 attorneys, giving Norton Rose a significant presence in the U.S. market and expanding Fulbright's international platform, the firms said Wednesday.

The deal is expected to be completed on June 1, and the combined firm will be called Norton Rose Fulbright. Peter Martyr, currently Norton Rose's chief executive, will assume the same role for the merged entity, while Fulbright chair-elect Ken Stewart will be the managing partner...
