Pa. Judges Sue State To Strike Mandatory Retirement

Law360, Philadelphia (November 14, 2012, 8:46 PM EST) -- Six Pennsylvania judges sued the state’s governor and other officials Wednesday, contending that a provision of the state constitution imposing a mandatory retirement age for the judiciary violates their rights under the U.S. and Pennsylvania constitutions.
