Law360, Washington (November 15, 2012, 3:18 PM EST) -- A former lobbyist convicted of bribing public officials in the Jack Abramoff scandal urged a D.C. Circuit panel Thursday to overturn his conviction, saying prosecutors couldn't establish that his alleged bribes resulted in an official's influenced conduct, a relationship he claimed is necessary to prove bribery in a post-Skilling environment.
