FERC Mulls More Stringent Natural Gas Sales Reporting

Law360, New York (November 15, 2012, 5:53 PM EST) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission said Thursday that it will consider beefing up its reporting requirements for natural gas transactions in an effort to improve price transparency in the wholesale natural gas market, allowing the regulator to better detect — and deter — market manipulation.
