U of Calif. Wants SNR Off Caldera's X-Ray Licensing Suit

Law360, New York (November 19, 2012, 5:13 PM EST) -- The University of California and Los Alamos National Security LLC on Thursday asked an Illinois federal judge to disqualify law firm SNR Denton from representing Caldera Pharmaceuticals Inc. in their ongoing patent licensing dispute, saying SNR has a conflict of interest.

The institutions said SNR can't represent Caldera — which claims the university and Los Alamos failed to honor an X-ray licensing agreement that cost the company more than $600 million in losses — since the firm has represented the university in various patent prosecutions....
