Australia Blocks Honduran Bid For WTO Panel In Tobacco Row

Law360, New York (November 20, 2012, 2:38 PM EST) -- Australia blocked a request Monday for the creation of a World Trade Organization panel to examine Honduras' claims that Australia's plain packaging requirements for tobacco products give trademark holders short shrift and conflict with Australia's obligations under international agreements.
