Baker & McKenzie Aims To Open Office In South Korea

Law360, New York (November 20, 2012, 4:30 PM EST) -- Baker & McKenzie, the latest law firm to set its sights on South Korea, has sought approval from the country’s regulatory authorities to open an office in Seoul that would represent clients in areas including project finance and intellectual property, the firm said Tuesday.

The planned office, which would be represented by the firm’s longtime transactional lawyer Nam Hung Paik, would be its 15th in the Asia Pacific region and its 73rd office in the world, according to a statement by the firm.
