Court Limits Contract Claims In Medicare Billing Disputes

Law360, New York (November 21, 2012, 8:13 PM EST) -- The U.S. Court of Federal Claims in a published opinion Tuesday said a company that’s allowed to bill Medicare doesn’t necessarily have a contract with the federal government, and as a result, reimbursement disputes can’t necessarily be pursued as possible breaches of contract.
