Advertising Industry's Watchdog Backs Oracle In IBM Ad Row

Law360, New York (November 21, 2012, 8:38 PM EST) -- An advertising industry self-regulator on Tuesday backed Oracle Corp.'s decision to nix advertising that promised a reward for disproving claims comparing its systems' speed performance to that of machines made by IBM Corp., noting that claims made in a contest announcement need sufficient substantiation.
