Heller Ehrman Skirts $100M Malpractice Claim Over IP Mishap

Law360, New York (November 21, 2012, 9:48 PM EST) -- A California bankruptcy judge on Wednesday held that Iris BioTechnologies Inc. waited too long to file a malpractice claim against Heller Ehrman LLP despite its allegations that the defunct firm’s failure to notify it of an expired patent application cost it $100 million.
