Trustee Objects To Mortgage Company's Sales Adviser

Law360, New York (November 8, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. trustee overseeing Mortgage Lenders Network USA Inc.'s bankruptcy proceeding has opposed the hiring of special sales adviser David Mills, saying he is not a disinterested person as required by law.

In court documents filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, Trustee Kelly Beaudin Stapleton said Mills worked as an officer for Mortgage Lenders Network up until earlier this year. He is therefore not eligible to represent the debtors, she said.
