China's Ming Yang To Build 2,500 MW Of Wind Power In India

Law360, New York (November 26, 2012, 7:36 PM EST) -- A subsidiary of China Ming Yang Wind Power Group Ltd., backed by China's development bank, will build 2,500 megawatts of clean power for India's Reliance Power Ltd. over the next three years, the parties said Monday.

Under the agreement, Ming Yang will handle engineering, procurement and construction of the projects. Reliance Power, India's biggest power producer, will help market the power.

China Development Bank will act as the coordinating bank and potentially the lead lender for the projects.
