Vonage Ready To Settle Another VoIP Lawsuit

Law360 (November 8, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Vonage Holdings Corp. said Thursday that it was close to reaching a settlement with AT&T in a patent lawsuit over Voice-over Internet Protocol — likely for $39 million.

In a report with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Vonage said it and AT&T had reached an agreement in principle.

“The parties will work diligently to finalize the specific terms of the settlement agreement,” Vonage said. “The general terms being discussed by the parties would require Vonage to pay $39 million over five years. AT&T would agree...
