FTC Says Bosch's $1B SPX Buy Contingent On Patent Licensing

Law360, New York (November 26, 2012, 7:18 PM EST) -- The Federal Trade Commission has cleared Robert Bosch GmbH's $1 billion purchase of SPX Service Solutions U.S. LLC under the condition that the German automotive parts maker license standards-essential patents to its competitors and sell off its air conditioner repair equipment business, the agency said Monday.
