Call That Ends 'Nicely' Not Protected FLSA Activity: 8th Circ.

Law360, New York (November 26, 2012, 8:28 PM EST) -- The Eighth Circuit on Monday tossed a paralegal's wrongful firing claims against a law firm, finding the employee's call to a supervisor to resolve a pay discrepancy was not a protected Fair Labor Standards Act complaint, partly because it ended in agreement.
