US Looks To Ax Electric Co.'s Appeal In Coal Plant Suit

Law360, Chicago (November 26, 2012, 8:06 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture told the D.C. Circuit on Friday that it lacks jurisdiction to hear Sunflower Electric Power Corp.'s appeal of a court order that barred a DOA agency from granting approvals for a coal-fired power plant expansion without first preparing a full environmental impact study.
