Mexican Judge Says Vitro Bondholder Qualms Lack Merit

Law360, New York (November 27, 2012, 6:01 PM EST) -- Mexico-based glassmaker Vitro SAB de CV said Tuesday that a Mexican court has denied an appeal from dissident bondholders who contested a ruling that established the priority of creditor claims in the company's bankruptcy. 

Vitro said in a statement that Judge Claudio Perez Hernandez, a judge for the Second Circuit Court in the city of Monterrey, had ruled that the bondholders' grievances were "without merit."
