Re-Evaluation Ordered For Exide's Lead Smelter Permits

Law360, Philadelphia (November 27, 2012, 5:38 PM EST) -- A Pennsylvania administrative law judge on Monday ordered the state's Department of Environmental Protection to re-evaluate permits issued to Exide Technologies for a lead smelting facility, after ruling regulators had failed to perform any serious analysis over the amount of lead discharged into the air.
