DOJ, House In Talks To Settle Fast And Furious Case

Law360, Washington (November 27, 2012, 1:23 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Justice and a group of House Republicans told a Washington federal judge on Tuesday that they have started settlement discussions over a suit seeking internal DOJ documents related to the controversial Fast and Furious gun-tracking program.

The DOJ and House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform began settlement discussions Monday but have not set a date for the next meeting.
