Autonomy Founder Denies Wrongdoing In $10B HP Buy

Law360, New York (November 27, 2012, 3:04 PM EST) -- The founder of British software company Autonomy Corp. PLC on Tuesday lashed out against Hewlett-Packard Co.'s statements accusing the company of lying about its financial health before its $10 billion sale to HP, denying any wrongdoing and asking HP to specify its allegations. 

In an open letter to HP’s board of directors, Autonomy founder Dr. Mike Lynch said he was “shocked and appalled” that HP never approached him before publicly announcing its suspicions that Autonomy lied about its financial health during deal negotiations in 2011....
