EU Appeals Court Orders EC To Disclose Info

Law360 (November 8, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The European Union clarified and increased its competition regulators' transparency by granting a British beer importer's request to compel the names of five participants at a 1996 meeting on the importer's antitrust complaint against the United Kingdom.

The Court of First Instance on Thursday annulled the European Commission's 2004 decision not to release the names related to the meeting.
