UK Courts Can Hear Foreign Patent Cases, Judge Rules

Law360, New York (November 28, 2012, 8:06 PM EST) -- A U.K. judge ruled Tuesday that British courts can hear infringement disputes over foreign designations of European patents, allowing Actavis Group HF to pursue a U.K. case alleging it does not infringe an Eli Lilly & Co. cancer drug patent in several European countries.
