HHS Panel Seeks Input On Stage 3 E-Records Recommendations

Law360, New York (November 28, 2012, 6:34 PM EST) -- A Department of Health and Human Services advisory committee asked for public input Monday on its draft recommendations for the stage 3 definitions of meaningful use under the electronic health records program, which put more focus on collaboration and information-sharing.

The recommendations were released by the Health Information Technology Policy Committee, which advises HSS' Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, as it ramps up work on stage 3.
