GSK Hit With Suit Over Avodart's Prostate Cancer Risks

Law360, New York (November 29, 2012, 4:58 PM EST) -- GlaxoSmithKline PLC was hit with a product liability suit in Pennsylvania state court Wednesday claiming the pharmaceutical giant concealed or downplayed the potentially life-threatening side effects of its prostate drug Avodart, which the plaintiff claims caused him to develop prostate cancer.
