Hospital Mergers Drive Up Prices, Insurers Tell 6th Circ.

Law360, New York (November 29, 2012, 4:40 PM EST) -- A health insurance trade group recently told the Sixth Circuit that consolidation among hospitals has driven up prices to consumers and urged the court to uphold a Federal Trade Commission decision that required ProMedica Health System Inc. to divest an Ohio hospital.
