India Probes Alleged Solar Cell Dumping By China, US, Others

Law360, New York (November 29, 2012, 6:47 PM EST) -- India’s trade overseer will look into whether exports of photovoltaic solar cells from China, the U.S. and two other countries are being dumped on the Indian market, the agency said recently.

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry said Nov. 23 that it will conduct an investigation to determine if exports of solar cells from China, the U.S., Taiwan and Malaysia are being sold at below-market prices in India to the detriment of the nation’s domestic industry.
