Calif. Gov. Appoints 6 To Trial Courts, 1 To Appeals Court

Law360, New York (November 30, 2012, 4:47 PM EST) -- California Gov. Jerry Brown on Thursday announced six judicial appointments to state trial courts and one to an appeals court, including five Democrats, one Republican and one appointee not registered in either party.

He put forward Judge Adrienne M. Grover, 50, to sit on the bench of the Sixth District Court of Appeal. Grover, a Democrat, has been a judge at the Monterey County Superior Court since 2002.
