Fla. Court Calls Trauma Center Rule Outdated, Invalid

Law360, New York (November 30, 2012, 8:20 PM EST) -- A Florida appeals court on Friday upheld an administrative law judge’s ruling that the state’s Department of Health couldn’t use a long-standing rule to approve new trauma centers, saying the rule is invalid because it ignores changes in state law governing the trauma care system.
