P&G, Canfield Sue Over Skin Imaging Patents

Law360, Los Angeles (December 3, 2012, 10:27 PM EST) -- The Procter & Gamble Co. and medical imaging systems company Canfield Scientific Inc. sued Enhanced Image Technologies LLC and PSI Co. Ltd. in North Carolina federal court Friday, claiming the defendants' skin imaging device infringes two patents.

P&G and Canfield said Tuesday that the Image Pro II, a device manufactured by EIT and its Korea-based partner PSI, infringes patents covering skin and aesthetic imaging and analysis systems and methods.
