Philadelphia County Judge Dead In Apparent Suicide

Law360, Philadelphia (December 3, 2012, 6:21 PM EST) -- Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge Adam Beloff, a former Beloff & Hope PC partner who oversaw criminal cases, committed suicide over the weekend, a court spokeswoman confirmed Monday.

Judge Beloff was found dead at home Saturday in New Jersey shore town Ventnor, according to Ventnor Police Chief Michael Miller. Representatives for the Atlantic County Medical Examiner’s office on Monday would not reveal any details into their investigation into the time and circumstances of Beloff’s death.
