AMD Attorney Stokes Fire In Intel Antitrust Saga

Law360, New York (November 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Insisting that the material is still private, a lawyer for Advanced Micro Devices Inc. is attempting to block Intel Corp.'s attempts to get its mitts on a study that claims $60 billion of the company's profits over the past decade originate from anti-competitive conduct.

On Friday, O'Melveny & Myers attorney Charles Diamond filed a declaration in support of his client's stated opposition to Intel's request to compel discovery on the study, arguing that AMD should not be required to cough up the material.
