Trial Court Deals Cardia Blow After Appellate Reversal

Law360 (November 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A judge has ruled that Cardia Inc. has infringed a patent related to the correction of a heart defect, five months after an appeals court reversed the trial court's decision to grant Cardia summary judgment and throw out the complaint filed by plaintiffs NMT Medical Inc. and Children's Medical Center Corp.
