Alchemix Denied New Trial Over Stock Sale Gone Bad

Law360, Los Angeles (December 5, 2012, 6:03 PM EST) -- An Arizona federal judge on Monday denied gasification technology company Alchemix Corp.’s motion for a new trial in a securities fraud suit, ruling that a jury verdict finding an Alchemix executive omitted crucial facts in a 2002 stock sale to another company was supported by trial evidence.
