Australia To Create New Anti-Dumping Agency

Law360, New York (December 4, 2012, 2:54 PM EST) -- The Australian government said Tuesday it would create a new government trade regulator to protect against dumping, complete with increased funding and stronger penalties.

The announcement of the new agency came after a four-month study commissioned by Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Justice Jason Clare into a possible overhaul of the anti-dumping and countervailing system.
