Pa. Judiciary Announces $4M Settlement In Courthouse Row

Law360, Philadelphia (December 4, 2012, 8:03 PM EST) -- The Philadelphia judiciary has reached a $4 million settlement with Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP in its legal malpractice battle over a $200 million courthouse project, Pennsylvania Supreme Court Chief Justice Ronald Castille announced Tuesday at the Philadelphia Bar Association’s annual meeting.

Castille revealed the settlement over the development of a new building for the city’s family court as part of his remarks for receiving the bar’s Justice William J. Brennan Jr. Distinguished Jurist Award.
