FTC Official Justifies Tough Hospital Merger Enforcement

Law360, Washington (December 4, 2012, 8:48 PM EST) -- A top Federal Trade Commission official on Tuesday defended the more aggressive antitrust approach the agency has adopted toward hospital mergers in recent years, arguing that the latest round of consolidations in the health care industry warranted additional scrutiny.
