Dems Question Distribution Of Anti-Radiation Drug

Law360 (November 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Energy Committee has questioned an official on the Bush administration's alleged failure to comply with a 2002 law mandating the distribution of an anti-radiation drug to all people living within 20 miles of a nuclear power plant.

In a letter sent Friday to Office of Management and Budget Director Jim Nussle, four Democratic congressmen and members of the House's Committee on Energy and Commerce asked why the executive branch allegedly had not fulfilled the law's requirements.
