J&J Exits Ex-Sales Reps' Suit Over Noncompete Deal

Law360, New York (December 5, 2012, 3:25 PM EST) -- A Florida federal judge signed off Tuesday on a stipulation allowing Johnson & Johnson to bow out of a lawsuit brought by former sales representatives of its cardiac device unit who alleged an employment agreement unfairly restricted them from selling devices for new employer St. Jude Medical Inc.

The stipulation signed by U.S. District Judge John Antoon II dismisses J&J from the case without prejudice. J&J filed a motion to dismiss on Nov. 19, maintaining it couldn't be held liable for the Biosense Webster Inc. noncompete...
