UK Watchdog Clears Apple Of ICloud False Advertising Claims

Law360, New York (December 6, 2012, 2:19 PM EST) -- Apple Inc. on Wednesday was cleared of claims it falsely advertised its iCloud service in the United Kingdom by saying the feature is “automatic and effortless” when the company understood the function did not work for its Mac computer line that easily.

The Advertising Standards Authority investigated the claims, which were featured in an online advertisement, after a consumer complained iCloud was not “automatic and effortless” to use on Mac computers.
