KFC Case Stayed Pending JPML Ruling

Law360, New York (November 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has granted KFC Corporation's request to stay proceedings in an employment dispute as it awaits a decision from the multidistrict panel on litigation on whether to transfer the case.

Senior District Judge Howard Sachs approved KFC's request on Wednesday, calling the case brought by Jason Johnson to a halt until the MDL panel rules on the request to transfer the suit to the Minnesota district court.
