Mich. GOP Fast Tracks Right-To-Work Measures Amid Protests

Law360, New York (December 6, 2012, 8:35 PM EST) -- Amid protests at the state Capitol, Michigan's Republican-controlled House passed a bill Thursday that would make Michigan the 24th right-to-work state hours after the governor vowed to sign off on such legislation if it reaches his desk. 

House Bill 4054 passed in a 58-52 vote with no Democrats supporting the bill. The bill is one of three separate right-to-work bills that began moving through the Michigan Legislature, where Republicans hold the majority in both houses, after Gov.
